| Japan's Aiful to offer Goldman payment to save debt plan: report Aiful Corp. (8515.TO) offered to repay Y3.7 billion ($42 million) of loans held by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) at a discount to win the U.S. lender's support for its debt-restructuring proposal, Bloomberg News reported on its Web site Friday, citing two people familiar with the matter. Goldman Sachs told Aiful it may block the proposal unless the Japanese consumer lender pays back the loans, according to the people.
